The one that got away.
The year was 1993. After school TV turned into appointment viewing. Playgrounds turned into roll calls. And the Megazord became the piece. Not one of them. THE one.
This is the OG Bandai Megazord (#2220) from the debut year of the line, complete in box with its full set of accessories. The full combination is here: Power Sword, Mammoth Shield, cannons, firing Power Punch missiles, and all five Dinozord components, including the Sabertooth Tiger and Triceratops that separate cleanly from the legs.
What matters here is that it all comes together the way it’s supposed to.
The first-run packaging is intact, including the collector bio card panel and Megazord card, along with early production details that place this in the initial wave of releases. The box shows honest shelf wear consistent with age, but the window is intact and the graphics still hit the way they should.
This is not a sealed museum piece. It’s a complete example of the toy that defined the line, from the year the franchise took over.
