Seller Terms & Conditions

By registering as a seller on ThrowbackBuys.com, you ("Seller") agree to the below terms and conditions.

Transaction Fee: The standard transaction fee for all sales is 10%. Sellers can qualify for a reduced 8% promotional rate by featuring their unique ThrowbackBuys shop link on their social profiles (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, or other platforms). This link must be added upon approval of your seller profile. Sellers can opt into the promotional rate during sign-up or at any time after sign-up by reaching out to sup@throwbackbuys.com.
Fee Structure Changes: ThrowbackBuys reserves the right to modify the fee structure with advance notice to sellers.

Eligible Products: Items should generally be from the 1990-2010 era, though exceptions may be made for rare or unique finds.
Accurate Descriptions: All product titles and descriptions must be clear and accurate, highlighting any wear, imperfections, or unique features.
ThrowbackBuys Edits: We may adjust product descriptions to align with our brand tone while maintaining the integrity of the item’s details.
Product Photography: You must upload at least 3 high-quality images (1024 x 1200 pixels minimum) of your product from multiple angles. For the best results, we recommend using the third-party Photoroom app to remove backgrounds and keep your photos looking polished with our Polaroid-style template.
Delisting Rights: ThrowbackBuys reserves the right to delist any products that do not adhere to these Terms & Conditions, or for any reason at any time.

Timely Shipping: You agree to ship all products within 2-3 business days of receiving an order.
Shipping Labels: Labels can be purchased through the seller portal during order fulfillment. You must select the shipping service and rate chosen by the customer at checkout. Ensure all package details (dimensions, weight, etc.) are accurate. Any overages due to inaccurate shipping details will be deducted from your payouts.
Shippo Integration: We offer integration with Shippo if you have an existing account for ease of use.
Packaging: Products should be shipped using quality packing materials that prevent damage during transic.

Final Sales: All sales are considered final, except in cases where the product has been misrepresented. You must provide accurate details about the product’s condition, and failure to do so may lead to refund claims.
Refund Eligibility: If a buyer files a refund claim due to misrepresentation (e.g., incorrect condition, size, or authenticity), you will be responsible for refunding the buyer as outlined in our Return & Refund Policy.
Refund Policy Compliance: You agree to adhere to the ThrowbackBuys refund policy, which includes covering return shipping costs for approved claims.

Payout Process: Payments are processed through Stripe or PayPal and will be issued once the product has been shipped. Any shipping label overages will be deducted from your payout.
Special Terms: Any special payment arrangements must be agreed upon separately from these T&Cs.

Inventory Updates: Ensure your inventory is accurately managed. Products listed as "in stock" must be available for immediate purchase. For one-of-a-kind items, update your stock as soon as they are sold.
Inventory Location: When managing stock, ensure that products are assigned to your store/profile location only.

Refund Policy: By listing items on ThrowbackBuys, you agree to comply with our Return & Refund Policy. Claims for refunds due to misrepresented products will require a refund to the customer.
General Policies: You must comply with all ThrowbackBuys’ general policies, including but not limited to Privacy and Returns & Refunds policies.

Communication: Sellers are expected to maintain professional and prompt communication with buyers. Any disputes or issues should be resolved in a timely manner.
Marketplace Standards: Failure to adhere to these terms may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your seller account.

Promotions Participation: ThrowbackBuys may run temporary discounts on orders or shipping. By default, your products will not be included in these promotions. However, you will have the option to opt-in, and any discounts applied will be deducted from your payout.

Agreement Changes: ThrowbackBuys reserves the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. Sellers will be notified of any changes.
Legal Jurisdiction: This agreement is governed by the laws of the state of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
