Then Tiger and Hasbro made the whole thing smaller, softer, stranger, and somehow even more locked into the end-of-the-century toy aesthetic. That’s where this one lives.

This is the 1999 Confetti Furby Baby, one of the louder and harder-to-miss colorways from the era, with the pastel-spotted body, blue tuft, and the kind of design that feels pulled straight out of peak Y2K kid culture. The detail that really sets this one off, though, is the silver eyes. That’s the version collector people notice right away.

Factory marked WT with a birthday of December 19th, 1999, which is exactly the kind of oddly specific Furby detail that makes these even better. It works, it’s been tested, and it still carries that weird little end-of-the-90s energy that made Furby feel less like a toy and more like something that had fully entered the room.
